Dr Kirsten Focken, Cluster Coordinator for EAC-GIZ (until end of 2020) has the overall responsibility for all projects and initiatives working in support of the EAC. Dr Kirsten Focken is a private sector, trade and business development professional with more than 25 years of experience in international development and the private sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. Through her role as Programme Manager and Cluster Coordinator she oversees all EAC-GIZ initiatives and brings her expertise to the extensive portfolio of work across the region.
